Role Summary

We are seeking a Senior Data Analyst with expert-level experience in analytics, particularly using Power BI. This role demands a deep understanding of data extraction, transformation, and visualization to deliver actionable insights that significantly impact business decisions. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in data best practices and extensive experience in designing and maintaining scalable data solutions across various cloud-based platforms.

Responsibilities:

1. Data Pipeline Development: Design and implement scalable ETL processes using Azure Data Factory to integrate data from various sources (e.g., onpremises databases, cloud services, APIs).
2. Data Transformation: Develop data transformation scripts and workflows to ensure data quality and consistency.
3. Data Modeling: Collaborate with data architects and analysts to design optimal data models that support reporting and analytics requirements.
4. Monitoring & Optimization: Monitor and optimize data pipelines for performance and reliability, ensuring timely and accurate data delivery.
5. Documentation: Create and maintain documentation for data workflows, pipeline configurations, and data sources.
6. Collaboration: Work closely with data scientists, analysts, and stakeholders to understand data requirements and provide insights that drive business decisions.
7. Compliance & Security: Ensure data governance practices are followed, and maintain data security and privacy standards.

Qualifications:

1. Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes. (+5 Years)
2. SQL Server (store procedures, view, index, optimization) (+5 Year)
3. Proven experience as a Data Engineer, with a focus on Azure Data Factory. (+3 Years)
4. Familiarity with programming scripts with Python. (+3 Year)
5. Knowlege procesing XML, Json files to extract data (+1 Years)
6. Knowledge in Azure services (e.g., Azure SQL Database, Azure Blob
7. Storage, Azure Synapse Analytics). (+1 Year)
8. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
9. Knowledge in version control with Git (SQL Server Projects and Data Factory)
10. Knowledge of data visualization tools (Power BI)
11. Familiarity with programming scripts with PowerShell is a plus
