Role Summary

As a Frontend Engineer at Qualitara, you will play a pivotal role in developing and enhancing our web platforms, focusing on creating high-quality, user-friendly front-end features for our security products. This role requires a passion for building responsive, elegant, and scalable applications that align with our business objectives and provide exceptional user experiences. You will work closely with our design and backend teams to ensure seamless, efficient, and cohesive product development.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the front-end portion of our applications, ensuring optimal performance on both desktop and mobile platforms.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to implement visual design intent and ensure that the front-end user interface meets the functional requirements.
• Translate requirements and mockups into fully functioning features using JavaScript and modern frameworks, specifically React.
• Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability, ensuring all front-end features are responsive and data-rich.
• Integrate and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, ensuring streamlined development workflows and automation.
• Contribute to and maintain technical documentation for front-end architecture, workflows, and best practices.
• Provide mentorship and coaching to other engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and knowledge-sharing.
• Implement and maintain Storybooks for UI component development and documentation, ensuring consistency and reusability across projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in front-end development, with a solid foundation in JavaScript, CSS, HTML, and front-end frameworks like React.js.
• Demonstrated experience with responsive and adaptive design.
• Understanding of key website design principles, accessibility, and SEO optimization.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering highly optimized, user-centered solutions.
• Experience with version control tools such as Git.
• Experience with GitHub Actions for CI/CD automation.
• Knowledge of Storybook for component-driven development.
• Strong technical documentation skills to ensure clear and comprehensive documentation of front-end processes and workflows.
• Ability to mentor and coach other engineers, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.
• Fluency in English and excellent communication skills, capable of collaborating effectively across multiple teams.
